Squirrels Gone Wild

Ethan is supposed to dress in "brightly colored play clothes" for the Spring Show at school today.

He suggested one of his favorite bright yellow t-shirts.

He did not understand why I vetoed it. I think his teachers may be OK with the picture of the animals, but may not appreciate the "Squirrels Gone Wild ... The Ultimate Party Animals" text on the front.

Just a guess.

It's for sure someone would turn him in and he'd be wearing it inside-out the rest of the day!

My son wants to wear the T-shirts with the scary skulls on them to school. Not sure I'm even buying him one of those, but I'm sure that somewhere in the school dress code it says that students can't wear clothes that give their mothers the heebie-jeebies.

Ha, too funny. Yes, I think you did the right thing.

As long as he's not wearing Ed Hardy apparel, I think I'm OK with it. (since I'm the arbiter of how my future SIL looks)
