I Should Win A Pottery Oscar

Just look at this plate we made! And, by made, I mean painted at one of those pottery places. It only took ten hours and seven hundred reminders to "stop glopping stuff on the brush and please, please, please stop painting outside the lines!" (Ethan to me, of course). Yes, while I should win a pottery kick-ass award for my amazing art skills, I do not think I deserve a parking one ...

... on my car outside of Borders. Can you feel that holiday spirit in the air? Yes, me too. Considering someone last month left a note on my car addressed to "Dr. As$h@le" and continued "Who the f---k do you think you are with your f---ing parking?!?", I will consider this most recent note a love letter to me noting a marked improvement in my driving skills. Life is all about perception.

On that note, a very Happy Holidays to all! May your dwindling days of 2010 be filled with cookies and snowmen!

XOXO,
J

LOVE the plate!!!

Not sure what to say about those notes except that people are rude, but VERY curious about how you park that generates such notes. How about a picture of your park job next time?

And Happy Holidays to you, too!

Just know you're not alone: Years ago when I lived in an apartment complex and had an assigned parking spot, I had a neighbor who KEPT A JOURNAL each day about how I parked, how many inches my tire was from the line every day, etc. One day he confronted me and shared his journal with me. That was fun! At least I was able to go to the apartment office and get assigned a new spot.

Wow, nothing like spreading some Christmas joy!

Well, maybe your parking skills are nothing to brag about (or maybe they are, in their own way!) but you're pottery skills rock!

Happy Holidays!

What a wonderful thing to do with your son!! Pottery is a wonderul art. As for the parking notes, lets just wish these seriously grumping people peace and happiness this holiday season ...they must be under much pressure to concern themselves with the parking habits of others..

Happy holidays my friend..xo HHL

I have been known to leave a note telling people the next time they park so close to me they should leave a bleeping can opening so I can get in my car :O)
