Princeton Is But A Few Short Years Away

Actually, Stanford would be OK, too. Even Cornell. Georgetown would be an option. College is really his choice, so long as he becomes a doctor by the age of 20. Or a physician.

On an administrative matter, if you responded to an ad on EBay listing "one blond, blue-eyed child with a dusting of freckles, precocious vocabulary, and active imagination," please note this listing is no longer valid, as of today. Second grade has (finally!) started, so the child in question is no longer for sale. Check back with me mid-summer 2011.

A look back to when hand-holding was still permitted in public. Wonder if he'd be opposed to dressing like a pumpkin again this Halloween just to make me happy? I'd give him a pass on the doctor thing, or at least take the pressure off and give him until 21 to finish the M.D.

Terri cracks me up.

Anyway...so cute. Wait til Valentine's Day...that construction paper mailbox will be OVER-flowing with love notes for him. I can only imagine dinner table conversations all throughout the tables of his little girl classmates now....

All of you that have mentioned "girls", I would like to go on the record and state that Ethan will be allowed to date when he is a reasonable age to do so ... like 43, the year after he gets his drivers' license.

Little Girl started back 3 weeks ago as well. She is in Taekwon Do so she learns the correct moves to keep the cute little boys like Ethan at bay. She will not be dating til she finishes law school and med school and I guess nursing school is moot if she is going to med school...

When my nephew started first grade he asked his mom if she could kiss him good-bye at the house instead of at the bus stop. She told him if he didn't kiss her good-bye at the bus stop she would follow him on the bus and kiss him good-bye.

They grow up too fast!

Love his cord jacket. I think it's going to be a hit with the second grade ladies. And really, medicine is the best option. We all know law is overrated ;)
