Strict

Ethan spent Sunday with my parents decorating their tree and making cookies while Jeff and I went shopping for presents.

I was told he did not have his listening ears on while he was over there.

When I downloaded the pictures from my camera, I came across these ...

I think this explains an awful lot about why I turned out so well.

LOL! How could they do that to such a cute Ravens' fan? (I was ready to do that to mine today, too!)

One of my kids told me....
"Silence is Golden, but duct tape is silver."

I imagine he had to have heard that somewhere from home (I certainly would *never* say such a thing)...and I imagine it was of course, well-intentioned.

Maybe the duct tape is when you'll need to really worry....

glad the "floppy baby" comment made you laugh and thanks for the compliment on my cards. I love being crafty. maybe we can arrange something for your cards next year. haha! (I wasn't sure how to respond back to your comment so I figured I would just post on your latest entry lol)

hehehehehe. okay, story: One time, my mother came home from work and found my father doing yard work and my little brother (who was a toddler at the time) sitting out under the tree near him. She thought it was so sweet, son watching daddy prune bushes..truly the stuff early memories are made of. As she got out of the car, she noticed my brother seemed a bit distressed. She went over to say hi to my dad and greet my brother...as she picked him up, she noticed the chain. No, really. My father, in an attempt to retain my brother in a nearby area so he could finish his gardening, had taken a dog leash and clipped it to my baby brothers belt loop. And he truly thought there was nothing wrong with this.
